Brooks City-Base has evolved rapidly from a visionary concept into an established business and technology campus with enormous potential for future growth. With this growth come numerous opportunities.

The contracting and procurement activities at Brooks City-Base are modeled after the State of Texas and the City of San Antonio. In general, the goals of public sector procurement include identifying the best value for the buyer, in this case, the Brooks Development Authority (BDA), and fair and open opportunity for all qualified and capable providers.

The BDA board also adopted the city’s small and minority business policy, which awards businesses that are certified South Central Texas Regional Certification Agency as disadvantaged, minority, female-owned, among other distinctions.
